Begin each day with the Fair & Flawless Collection for Skin Care  (back to top)

Fair & Flawless has spent years perfecting its unique formulations to create a systematic approach that lightens your entire body—not just your hands or face—to the level of color you desire for your skin. Fair & Flawless Collections for Skin Care works faster and is safer for your skin than any other system on the market today. In as little as five days, your skin can begin to reclaim its supple, soft character, and the creamy, smooth color you know you once had (and can have again).

But that’s not all. Fair & Flawless Collections for Skin Care are also the first skin lightening products on the market that not only let you lighten your skin and control melanin production, but also care for the rest of your beauty regimen. Our product line will clean and moisturize your entire body beautiful, exfoliate, soften, and protect those exposed places.

Skin is your body’s largest organ  (back to top)

Did you know your skin is really an organ, just like your brain or heart? And it’s the body’s biggest and most complex. Here are more skin facts:

  • Peeled from our bodies and laid out, our skin would take up 10 square feet.
  • Skin weighs about seven pounds (an adult head weighs in at about eight pounds).
  • Skin has two layers, the epidermis and the dermis.
  • Skin contains 300 million cells that are continually renewing themselves (you can see this in action when a skin cut heals).
  • It takes from 50 to 75 days to regenerate your skin, depending on certain skin conditions and what kind of skin treatment you’re using.
  • Fair & Flawless optimizes skin rejuvenation through its breakthrough Sepiwhite* formula and gives you skin that’s radiant, even in tone and color, and smooth to the touch.

You are what you eat  (back to top)

Maximize the impact of Fair & Flawless by choosing foods that keep your skin healthy and clean. Say “no, thanks” to chocolate (well . . . try), cigarettes, and fatty foods. Eat foods that contain antioxidants. These are chemicals that stop free radicals — elements that damage skin — dead in their tracks. So get your fresh veggies, fruits and fiber — and drink plenty of water to ensure that your skin is moisture rich.

Sweat your skin into shape  (back to top)

Yup, exercise and sweat are good for your skin—as long as you cleanse afterward. Even something as simple as soaking your skin in Skin Soho White Tea Lightening Toner or, if you have time, a luxurious scrub with our Skin Soho Soya Lait Exfoliating Milk Bar can do wonders to protect and correct. Remember, skin is an organ, and just like your heart, exercise helps keep it fit and elastic. Exercise helps relieve stress, too, another major influence on beautiful looking skin.

Sleep: the penultimate skin rejuvenator  (back to top)

Been burning the midnight oil? We know now that sleep is one of the best things you can do for your skin—and all your body for that matter. At least eight hours of sleep are needed every night to keep your skin looking its best. Slather your face with our Fair & Flawless Facial Lightening Cream or Skin Soho Facial Lightening Parfait as well, and you’ll wake up looking like someone should take you back to bed!

To stress or not to stress: what your skin thinks

A bit of stress is okay—and hard to avoid in our busy lives—but prolonged stress will dull and discolor your skin. Stress can create lines and wrinkles that add years to your face. Fight back withSkin Soho Lift Me Light and the entire Skin Soho Collection to keep your skin looking fresh and youthful.

Cleanse your face—every day!   (back to top)

Daily life is hard on your skin — smog, a bad diet, and too little exercise can all impact on how your skin looks and feels. Protect your skin with the right combination of cleansers, moisturizers, and SPF creams specially grouped for maximum benefit in the Skin Soho Dolce Facial Lightening Kit.

Moisturize your body beautiful   (back to top)

Plump cells are fresh and radiant looking so be sure your skin is saturated with moisturizers. Start by drinking lots of water, and then choose one of the moisture-drenching creams in the Fair & Flawless Signature Collection or the Skin Soho Collection.

SPF to keep UV rays off your Fair & Flawless   (back to top)

The sun — we love and we hate it. It feels so warm to have its rays kiss our cheek, especially after a long, cold winter (or even in the winter, skiing the Colorado slopes!). But UV exposure increases melanin production, which impacts on your skin color. Worse, sun exposure can lead to premature aging, and skin that looks dry and withered. So dig into the Fair & Flawless Body Lightening Cream or Skin Soho Body Lightening Soufflé and slather your face and neck with a sumptuous rehydrating cream and a sunscreen.

Skin conditions: What is pigmentation?   (back to top)

Melanin influences the tone and color of our skin through pigmentation. Melanin sits in the upper part of our skin and protects the sensitive under layer of skin from sun damage. Either too much or too little melanin can be harmful.

Hypo pigmentation or hyper pigmentation?

When you see white, patchy areas on your skin, it may be that you’re suffering from hypo pigmentation. If your skin is blotchy and noticeably uneven in color, it may be you have hyper pigmentation.

Hyper pigmentation can result from the use of certain drugs, chemicals, or over-exposure to the sun. Even some cosmetics and perfumes can make it worse. Some hyper pigmentation disorders include:

  • Enlarged, dark freckles
  • Brown birthmarks
  • Moles
  • Contact dermatitis hyper pigmentation
  • Seborrhea warts
  • Solar lentignes

Freckles: not so cute at 30  (back to top)

Enlarged, dark freckles can get worse—much worse—up to 10 times larger. The Fair & Flawless Super Spot Eraser or Skin Soho Tapioca D-Light Spot Crème can reduce and improve freckles in as little as two weeks and help them virtually fade altogether in six months.

Pregnancy increases melanin production, a condition known as Melasma

When you’re pregnant, your hormones change and produce at different rates. This can lead to an increase in melanin-stimulating cells, a condition called Melasma or Choasma. Melasma occurs in at least half, and sometimes more, of all pregnancies, and the darker the skin, the more common it is. Of course, sun exposure can worsen the effects of Melasma. You’ll generally notice Melasma in the middle of your forehead, on your cheeks and upper lip, and along the line of your jaw. So keep out of the sun during pregnancy and sun-protect your skin with sunscreen.

How oral contraceptives contribute   (back to top)

Oral contraceptives affect your hormones, and so potentially contribute to Melasma. You might not be able to do much about your oral contraceptives, but you can keep out of the sun and use an SPF cream and Skin and the Fair & Flawless Collections for Skin Care.

Men are not immune from Melasma (back to top)

As many as 10 percent of people with Melasma are men. When men get the condition, it’s almost always because of over-exposure to the sun. Again, keep out of the sun and sun-protect with Fair & Flawless.

What Fair & Flawless offers you (back to top)

Fair & Flawless products help reduce melanin production and protect the skin against conditions that lead to enlarged freckles, skin discolorations and darkened skin. You can help by ensuring you have a diet rich in anti-oxidants, that you exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep. Caring for yourself — and choosing the Fair & Flawless Collections for Skin Care as your daily skin protection regimen — can help you achieve skin that’s the tone and color you want, with a radiance you have never before experienced.
